O Emmy Awards anunciou, nesta quinta-feira (12), as produções indicadas à premiação de 2018. Os atores Ryan Eggold (The blacklist e New Amsterdam) e Samira Wiley (The handmaid's tale e Orange is the new black) foram os responsáveis pela revelação dos nomeados ao prêmio, que será entregue no dia 17 de setembro com apresentação de Michael Che e Colin Jost, do Saturday night live.
Game of thrones recebeu o maior número de indicações nesta 70ª edição do Emmy Awards. Atlanta lidera entre as séries de comédia, com 16 indicações, enquanto O assassinato de Gianni Versace: American crime story foi indicada 18 vezes na categoria de minissérie.
